This was the session that might have never happened. But boy, am I glad it did.
I work with Edwin, but only see him a few times per week. One night he came over to my office and had a really excited look on his face. "So, I think I'm ready to propose to my girlfriend. What do you think about this ring," he asked. WOW!
He had been doing his research, no doubt-- studying his girlfriend's Pinterest boards, paying close attention to her preferred details. I expressed my amazement with his ring and diamond selection and offered my well wishes. "So I don't know how I should propose yet," he admitted.
And that's where it all began...
After a few weeks collaborating with Edwin over how and when he'd propose, he decided to make it happen at Atlanta's Piedmont Park, as he and his girlfriend, Chandler were both from nearby Conyers.
For Valentine's Day, Edwin gifted Chandler a photo session since she'd been wanting them to take professional photos together for some time now. Thus, I didn't need to be the creepy, lurking person with a camera in the bushes taking photos of the proposal. They'd already planned their outfits and were ready to meet me at the park for their couple's pictures. Or so Chandler thought anyway..
Congratulations, Edwin & Chandler! You two were a pleasure to photograph and I enjoyed getting to know you and your families!
Ladies, if you want to drop your guy a hint, feel free to share this post! Fellas, if you're ready to propose and need a photographer to capture it (because she's going to want one), reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'd be happy to get in on the proposal planning!
